The 32-acre industrial site at East 38th Avenue and Steele Street, once the home of the Denver Medical Depot, is destined to become a multi-tenant "urban-flex" space with community spaces, restaurants and retail.

Colorado-based developer McWhinney will soon begin construction on 313 apartment homes in a 1,100-acre mixed-use community in Broomfield, the company announced Monday.
